PDP declares war on defectors, moves to sack four Osun lawmakers

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has taken legal action by filing separate suits at the Federal High Court in Abuja to remove four federal lawmakers from Osun State who defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC). The affected legislators are Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi, Senator Olubiyi Oluwole Fadeyi, Hon.

Omirin Emmanuel Olusanya, and Hon. Taofeek Abimbola Ajilesoro.

The PDP argues that their defection violates the Constitution and should result in the loss of their seats. The party is seeking a court order to declare the lawmakers' seats vacant and compel the Senate President, House Speaker, and INEC to take necessary actions.

The PDP emphasized that enforcing this action would restore constitutional order in the National Assembly.
