Adeleke Denies ADC's Role in Osun Re-election Victory

Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has refuted claims made by the African Democratic Congress (ADC) suggesting that the party assisted him in winning the governorship re-election held last Saturday. In a statement issued by his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, Adeleke clarified that there was no electoral deal or partnership with the ADC at any point during the election process.

He emphasized that the ADC was not part of the coalition that supported his campaign. Adeleke attributed his re-election victory to divine intervention and the support of the Osun people, commending his political partners for their efforts.

He stated, “Now that the election is over, I am a governor of all Osun people irrespective of political groups, religion or race,” reinforcing his commitment to serve all constituents.
