Otti Welcomes Ex-PDP Aspirant to Labour Party in Abia

On Saturday, Abia State Governor Alex Otti officiated the reception of former governorship aspirant from the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Ncheta Omerekpa, and other political figures into the Labour Party at the Nbawsi Mini Stadium in Isiala Ngwa North Local Government Area. Otti stated that the Labour Party does not discriminate against new members and encouraged them to enjoy the privileges of being part of the party.

He discussed the development of an airport city in Nsulu, which he believes will provide jobs and boost the local economy. Otti acknowledged the support from the community and emphasized the importance of unity among political factions.

He also highlighted the commitment of new entrants, including former PDP chairman Goc Nnaji, to ensure the Labour Party's success in the upcoming 2027 elections. The event showcased a collective declaration of support for Otti's leadership and his re-election bid.
