Otu Declared APC Governorship Candidate in Cross River

Otu has been declared the APC governorship candidate in Cross River following an unopposed election where he secured a total of 116,038 votes across 196 wards in 18 local government areas. The results were announced by Samuel Yarnap, the chairman of the Cross River APC primary election committee, at the party's state secretariat in Calabar on Friday.

Yarnap commended the party for the peaceful conduct of the governorship and state assembly primaries, noting that the process was orderly and reflected strong internal party cohesion ahead of future elections. Otu urged aggrieved aspirants to accept the outcome and support the party's unity and progress in the state.

He emphasized the importance of moving forward without fear or favor, appealing for cooperation among party members to ensure collective advancement.
