Taraba Governor Denies Rift with TY Danjuma, Pledges Support for Tinubu in 2027 Elections

Governor Kefas of Taraba State has refuted rumors of a strained relationship with elder statesman TY Danjuma, emphasizing their continued amicable ties. This clarification comes amidst political speculations hinting at discord between the two figures as the state gears up for the 2027 gubernatorial elections.

Kefas expressed gratitude for Danjuma's support and leadership, highlighting the latter's understanding of discipline and capacity in governance. He assured his loyalty to Danjuma and vowed to ensure that Taraba State benefits from both state and federal governance levels.

Additionally, Kefas declared his backing for President Bola Tinubu in the upcoming 2027 general elections, urging residents to align politically with the center to attract federal projects and opportunities.
