Over 13,000 Nigerians Repatriated from 10 Countries in Three Years - Report

According to a report, 13,635 stranded Nigerians have been repatriated from 10 countries over three years, with the highest numbers from Libya, Sudan, and Nigeria. The International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the Nigerian Diaspora Commission facilitated the repatriations.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has cautioned citizens, particularly youths, about the risks of falling victim to fraudulent job offers abroad. Officials emphasized the dangers of irregular migration and advised verifying overseas employment offers through official channels to ensure safety and legality.
