2,000 PDP Members Defect to APC in Jigawa State - Governor Namadi Reveals Plans for Development

Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa State announced that over 2,000 members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Maigatari Local Government Area. The defection is expected to strengthen the APC's base in the state.

Governor Namadi also revealed plans to collaborate with the Federal Government to remodel the Maigatari Export Processing Zone to address recurring flooding issues. Additionally, the APC Deputy Chairman in the state, Nasiru Dahiru, reiterated the party's support for the governor and warned against any acts of sabotage within the administration.

Any member found working against the government will face disciplinary action.
