Nigerian Ministry of Education Supports 42,000 Youth with TVET Stipends

The Nigerian Ministry of Education, led by Dr. Maruf Tunji Alausa, has rolled out the TVET initiative to provide practical support to young Nigerians pursuing vocational skills.

More than 42,000 beneficiaries are receiving monthly stipends of N22,500 to cover basic needs and transport costs. The program aims to equip youth with in-demand skills, promote employment, entrepreneurship, and economic growth.

The initiative includes plans for additional payments to sustain momentum and expand its reach nationwide, focusing on practical youth-focused education reform.
