Nigerian Government Begins Payment to 42,000 TVET Trainees

The Federal Government of Nigeria has started disbursing financial payments to 42,000 students enrolled in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programs. Each student will receive a monthly stipend of N22,500 to cover their upkeep and transportation costs.

This initiative aims to equip young Nigerians with practical skills for job creation and entrepreneurship, in line with President Bola Tinubu's directive to invest in the youth. The payments mark the beginning of sustained efforts to support TVET programs and ensure the quality and continuity of training.
