Oyebanji, Fayose Rally Ekiti for Tinubu's 2027 Bid

In Ekiti State, Governor Biodun Oyebanji and his predecessor Ayodele Fayose held a political rally to garner support for Bola Tinubu's re-election campaign ahead of the January 2027 presidential election. They emphasized the need for 600,000 votes to ensure Tinubu's success, highlighting the importance of mobilizing residents to obtain permanent voter cards.

Oyebanji urged peaceful conduct during the elections, noting the significance of unity in achieving electoral goals. Heinrich Akomolaf, a former candidate from the People's Democratic Party (PDP), announced his defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC), motivated by the developmental strides of Oyebanji's administration.

The rally also featured remarks from APC state chairman Sola Elesin and other dignitaries, reinforcing the party's commitment to securing votes for Tinubu.
