The forum issued a statement urging the next ministerial nominee to select someone from Oyo Town, highlighting that the area has not produced a minister in two decades despite being surrounded by successful administrative zones like Ibadan, Ogbomosho, and Saki.

The group acknowledged the resignation of the former Minister of Power, who represented Oyo State in the Federal Executive Council, and expressed confidence that a replacement would be appointed soon in line with constitutional provisions. The forum called on the president to use this opportunity to address the long-standing imbalance in ministerial appointments, advocating for fair equity and inclusive governance to strengthen public trust in the federal government.
