Oyo APC Chairman Urges Loyalty from New LG Chairmen

Mose Adeyemo, the chairman of the Oyo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), addressed newly inaugurated local government chairmen during a ceremony at the party secretariat in Ibadan. He emphasized the need for loyalty and fairness to the APC, urging the chairmen to prioritize these values as they prepare for the critical journey towards the 2027 general elections.

Adeyemo highlighted the importance of grassroots mobilization and the role of local government chairmen in achieving the party's objectives, which include delivering 80 percent of the total votes in the state for the presidential election. He acknowledged the successful organization of the recent congresses and called for immediate action to resolve any challenges in two or three local government areas.

The ceremony saw the swearing-in of chairmen from 30 out of 33 local government areas in Oyo State, including notable figures such as Bayonl Salami and Ademola Adelowo.
