APC Inaugurates New Executives in Lagos and Oyo States

The All Progressives Congress (APC) inaugurated new state and local government executives after conducting consensus polls. The inauguration took place on Tuesday, with Felix Morka, the party's national public secretary, overseeing the swearing-in of elected officials.

In Lagos, Cornelius Ojelabi was re-elected for a four-year term as state chairman during the congress held at Mobolaji Johnson Stadium, attended by 1,705 delegates from 376 wards. Other elected officials included Moshood Olanrewaju as deputy chairman and Adeola Jokomba as secretary.

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu urged the new executives to ensure the party's chapter becomes a reference point for fair and equitable conduct in future primaries. In Oyo, Mose Alakade Adeyemo was elected APC state chairman at the Obafemi Awolowo Stadium, with endorsements from key party leaders.

The emphasis across both states was on unity and grassroots mobilization to prepare for upcoming electoral victories.
