Oyo APC Chieftain Condoles El-Rufai on Mother's Death

Rilwan Akanbi, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State and former senator representing Oyo South Senatorial District, extended his condolences to Nasir El-Rufai, the former governor of Kaduna State, over the death of his mother, Hajiya Umma El-Rufai. Akanbi described the loss as painful and significant, highlighting the matriarch's strong moral values and her unwavering commitment to her family and community.

Hajiya Umma El-Rufai's death was announced on a Friday, with her grandson, Bello El-Rufai, expressing gratitude for her life and calling for prayers for her soul. Akanbi urged El-Rufai to find solace in the impact his mother had on many lives and to cherish her memory.

Hajiya El-Rufai was reportedly 100 years old at the time of her passing. Additionally, it was noted that Nasir El-Rufai was granted temporary bail related to corruption charges, allowing him to perform the funeral rites for his late mother.
