Oyo govt seeks stakeholders’ collaboration to grow health sector

The Oyo State Government is seeking collaboration from stakeholders to enhance the growth of the health sector and improve Primary Health Care (PHC) services. Chief Akin Fagbemi, Chairman of the Oyo State Health Management Board, emphasized the need for assistance during the reception of medical equipment worth millions of naira donated by the Oluyole Diamond Sisters Club UK to the State Maternity Hospital in Adeoyo, Ibadan.

Fagbemi highlighted the commitment of Governor Seyi Makinde's administration to the sector's development and stressed that the government cannot shoulder the responsibility alone. The donated equipment, including Radiant Warmer, Phototherapy Machine, and Oxygen Concentrator, will significantly enhance healthcare delivery in the state.

Various stakeholders, including the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes, expressed gratitude for the donation and pledged continued support for improving healthcare services in Oyo State.
