Oyo Lawmaker Fatai Buhari Empowers 2,500 Constituents

On Friday, Oyo lawmaker Fatai Buhari, representing the Oyo North Senatorial District, empowered over 2,500 constituents through a program aimed at enhancing their livelihoods. The empowerment event took place in Ogbomoso, where Buhari distributed various items including vehicles, motorcycles, sewing machines, deep freezers, and grinding machines.

He emphasized the importance of properly utilizing these tools to uplift lives and build communities. Buhari commended President Bola Tinubu for his development policies and noted the success recorded in the past three years in Oyo State.

He expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him by his constituents and highlighted the ongoing commitment to improving their economic status. Beneficiaries, including Abimbola Ayanlad and Kazeem Abdullah, described the empowerment as unprecedented in the state's history.

Buhari, who has held a Senate seat since 2015 and currently chairs the Senate Committee on Aviation, reiterated that such empowerment programs are vital for promoting small-scale businesses and reducing unemployment.
