Oyo Lawmakers Endorse Bimbo Adekanmbi for 2027 Elections

On Wednesday, during a strategic breakfast meeting at Iyaganku GRA, Ibadan, Oyo State lawmakers, led by Speaker Adebo Ogundoyin, endorsed Bimbo Adekanmbi as the preferred gubernatorial aspirant for the 2027 elections. This endorsement aligns with Governor Seyi Makinde's preference, as announced in a previous meeting with stakeholders of the People's Democratic Party.

Adekanmbi, a former Commissioner of Finance in Oyo State, was recognized for her political experience and capability to provide purposeful leadership. The gathering emphasized the importance of early grassroots mobilization and internal cohesion within the party to ensure a coordinated approach toward the upcoming elections.

Ogundoyin noted that the endorsement reflects confidence in Adekanmbi's ability to unite stakeholders and provide inclusive leadership.
