Oyo LG Promotes Retirement Planning for Workers to Ensure Financial Security

Asiwaju Akeem Olatunji, the executive chairman of Oluyole Local Government in Oyo State, led an advocacy campaign for workers' retirement planning to alleviate emotional and financial stress during retirement. The seminar, organized in collaboration with the Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), aimed to equip employees with essential knowledge and skills for personal and professional growth.

The event, held in Ibadan, attracted staff from various departments and featured sessions on career development, financial literacy, and early retirement planning. Olatunji emphasized the importance of continuous training and networking for workforce productivity and quality of life.
