Hask Advocates Party Stability for Democratic Success

Abdulrahman Hask, a chieftain and governorship aspirant from Adamawa, stated that intra-party stability is essential for sustaining democracy and driving socio-economic development in Nigeria. His remarks were made available through the APC public secretary, Abdulgaffar Ahm, on Wednesday.

Hask spoke at the North East APC zonal congress held in Gombe, where he noted that internal harmony within the APC would strengthen the party's structure at local, state, and national levels. He highlighted the need for peace and unity among stakeholders to demonstrate the party's commitment to democratic values.

The congress, hosted by Gombe State Governor Muhammadu Yahaya, resulted in the election of Idris Shaibu Gella as the new vice chairman for the North East. Prominent party leaders, including Mai Mala Buni, Agbu Kefa, and Ahmadu Fintiri, attended the event.

Hask described the congress as a defining moment for the APC in the North East, urging party leaders to rally behind the APC ahead of the national convention scheduled for March 27-28.
