Pastor Ibiyeomie Alleges Politicians Behind Kidnappings

Pastor David Ibiyeomie, the founder of Salvation Ministries, has made serious allegations regarding the abductions of schoolchildren across Nigeria, claiming that influential politicians are sponsoring these kidnappings. His statements come amid a recent surge in abductions involving students and teachers in states such as Sokoto and Oyo.

Ibiyeomie expressed his concerns about the apparent ineffectiveness of security agencies, particularly the Department of State Services (DSS), in apprehending those responsible for these crimes. He questioned how kidnappers could operate without the support of powerful individuals, asserting that such operations cannot occur without political backing.

Ibiyeomie pointed out that modern surveillance and tracking technologies should enable security agencies to locate kidnappers, yet he noted that no one has been caught, suggesting an "invisible hand" is at play. He emphasized the need for accountability and questioned why the DSS has not been able to trace and arrest kidnappers despite having the capacity to track individuals.
