Pastor Adeboye Urges Prayer for Abducted Oyo Schoolchildren

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, shared a message he received from God regarding the abducted schoolchildren in Oyo State. The incident involved the kidnapping of three schoolchildren and a mathematics teacher, Michael Oyedokun, in the Oriire Local Government Area on May 15.

Adeboye emphasized the importance of prayer, stating that God assured him the children would be released, although no specific timeline was provided. He called for collective prayer and fasting, urging people to seek divine intervention for the victims.

Additionally, Adeboye advised President Bola Tinubu to direct security agencies to intensify efforts against terrorism and kidnapping across Nigeria. This message was shared during a viral video recorded at the Faith Hero Award Gala in Washington D.C., where Adeboye addressed concerns regarding the fate of the abducted individuals and the broader security situation in Nigeria.
