Adeboye Urges Prayer for Abducted Oyo Schoolchildren

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, shared a message regarding the abducted schoolchildren from Oyo State, specifically mentioning the case of a mathematics teacher, Michael Oyedokun, who was reportedly killed. In a video that has gone viral, Adeboye stated that God instructed him to pray for the release of the children and to intensify efforts in seeking divine intervention.

He noted that the situation remains under divine control, although he did not specify when the victims would be freed. Adeboye also advised President Bola Tinubu to direct security agencies to intensify their efforts against terrorism and kidnappings across Nigeria.

This call for action came during a faith event in Washington D.C., where Adeboye addressed concerns over the fate of the abducted victims and the need for collective prayer and fasting.
