Bandits Demand N100m from Kebbi Community or Face Attack

A group of notorious bandits has issued a threat to the Ngaski Local Government Area in Kebbi State, demanding N100 million or they will launch an attack on the community. The demand was communicated through a letter addressed to community leaders, warning residents not to take the message lightly.

The letter referenced a previous attack in Woro Community, Kaiama Local Government Area, Kwara State, where several people were reportedly killed. The community is now in a state of panic, with residents expressing deep concern for their safety, especially during the Ramadan period.

Local government officials have been informed, and security agencies are reportedly taking measures to address the threat. The Kebbi State Government has deployed security personnel to the area, including air surveillance, to prevent any potential attack.

Community leaders, including Malam Ibrahim Bello, have urged the government to act quickly to protect the residents, who are living in fear and have discussed safety plans in case of an attack.
