Sule Lamido Initiates Legal Action Against PDP Over Chairmanship Nomination Dispute

Sule Lamido, a former governor of Jigawa State, has started legal proceedings against the PDP for allegedly being excluded from obtaining the nomination form for the party's chairmanship position. This move comes amidst a growing crisis within the PDP as Kabiru Tanimu Turaki emerges as the sole candidate for the chairmanship.

Lamido's legal challenge has further complicated the situation, leading to the indefinite postponement of the screening exercise by the National Convention Organizing Committee (NCOC). The PDP leadership remains adamant in dismissing Lamido's threats of litigation, emphasizing their commitment to ensuring a smooth transition of leadership.

Additionally, Senator Samuel Anyanwu, a known ally of Nyesom Wike, faces allegations of forgery related to documents submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
