Court Orders PDP to Maintain Status Quo Amid Convention Dispute

The Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to maintain the status quo regarding a convention dispute until the case is resolved. The lawsuit, brought by three aggrieved PDP officials, aims to stop the party's national convention scheduled for November 15-16 in Ibadan, Oyo State.

Justice James Omotosho issued the directive, warning against actions that could jeopardize the ongoing litigation. The court emphasized the need for a speedy resolution, with a definitive hearing set for Monday.

The aggrieved officials include Austin Nwachukwu, Amah Abraham Nnanna, and Turnah Georg.
