PDP Northern Stakeholders Adopt Turaki as Consensus Chairman Candidate

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Nigeria has seen Northern stakeholders adopt Kabiru Tanimu Turaki as the consensus candidate for the party's chairmanship race. This decision came after extensive negotiations involving various party aspirants from the North-West, North-East, and North-Central zones.

Ahmadu Fintiri, the chairman of the convention organizing committee, announced the choice during a meeting in Abuja. Notable figures like Gbenga Olawepo Hashim, Sule Lamido, and Ahm Makarfi were also part of the discussions.

The move aims to ensure unity and representation from the North in the upcoming PDP convention in Ibadan.
