PDP Convention: Sule Lamido Threatens Legal Action Over Denied Nomination Form

Former Jigawa State Governor and PDP stalwart Sule Lamido has threatened legal action against the party leadership for denying him access to purchase a nomination form for the upcoming PDP Convention. Lamido's supporters reported that he was denied the form at the PDP national secretariat in Abuja.

The controversy arose from the party's decision to zone the 2027 presidential ticket to the South and the chairmanship to the North, leading to disagreements among party members. Lamido's rejection of the consensus candidate endorsed by some Northern governors has further deepened the internal rift within the party.
