Sule Lamido Seeks Court Order to Halt PDP Convention Amid Crisis

Former Jigawa State Governor, Sule Lamido, has taken the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to court in Abuja to stop the upcoming national convention in Ibadan. Lamido alleges irregularities in the nomination process and lack of equal opportunities for eligible members to contest for positions.

He seeks to compel PDP to make the position of national chairman available for contest and to prevent INEC from supervising the convention until his concerns are addressed.
