PDP Faction Sets Date for National Convention in Abuja

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) faction has scheduled a national convention for March 28-29, 2026, in Abuja to elect new members of the national working committee and statutory organs. This decision was disclosed in a communiqué issued at the end of the 105th meeting of the party's National Executive Committee (NEC) held in Abuja.

The communiqué, jointly signed by Abdulrahman Muham, the National Chairman of the caretaker committee, and Samuel Anyanwu, the National Secretary, confirmed the convention dates. The primary purpose of the convention is to elect members of the national working committee and statutory organs of the party.
