PDP Governors Lambast ADC Over Comment On Zamfara Meeting

PDP Governors have criticized the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for their comments on a recent meeting held by PDP governors in Zamfara State. The ADC had condemned the meeting, accusing the PDP governors of insensitivity as it coincided with a day when innocent people were killed in the state.

The PDP governors defended the meeting, stating that the ADC was trying to gain political capital at the expense of human lives. The PDP governors emphasized that the meeting extensively discussed the security situation in Zamfara and the nation as a whole.

They commended the initiative of the Zamfara State government in curbing insecurity but condemned the continued killings in other states. The PDP governors also criticized the ADC's leadership, likening them to the proverbial prodigal son and stating that the PDP's doors are open for genuine reconciliation.
