PDP Inaugurates Convention Committee Amid Doubts Over November 15 Date

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) inaugurates its convention committee, chaired by Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Fintiri, ahead of the scheduled November 15 elective convention in Ibadan, Oyo State. The committee, which includes key figures like Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke and Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah, aims to ensure a successful and united convention.

However, doubts have been raised by Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike regarding the convention date and unresolved internal disputes within the party. Wike's concerns highlight potential challenges that could impact the convention's smooth conduct.

Despite these uncertainties, the PDP urges all stakeholders to remain united and work towards a successful convention.
