APC Claims PDP is No Longer a Viable Political Party

Felix Morka, the scribe of the All Progressives Congress (APC), asserted that the People's Democratic Party (PDP) is no longer a viable political party due to ongoing internal crises that prevent it from providing a credible political platform. Morka made these remarks during a morning show, responding to the increasing number of defections from the PDP to the APC.

He emphasized that the PDP's internal dysfunction has rendered it incapable of offering its members a sensible and credible platform for political aspirations. Recent defections include Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal, contributing to a significant shift in Nigeria's political landscape as the PDP faces persistent factional disputes and leadership challenges.

Morka noted that the APC is positioned to offer what the PDP cannot, dismissing claims that Nigeria is becoming a one-party state as misleading. The defections have notably weakened the PDP's influence, with two governors from Oyo and Bauchi states reportedly leaving, further diminishing the party's standing ahead of the 2025 elections.
