PDP Slams APC's Morka, Calls Claims Delusional

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) has responded to claims made by Felix Morka, the National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who stated that the PDP is no longer a functioning political party. Ini Ememobong, the PDP's National Publicity Secretary, issued a statement on Monday, describing Morka's comments as unfortunate and indicative of delusion.

Ememobong emphasized that despite alleged defections to the APC, Nigerians persistently reject the ruling party due to the hardships caused by its policies under President Bola Tinubu's administration. Morka had appeared on a morning show where he suggested that the PDP's internal crises have rendered it incapable of providing a credible political platform.

Ememobong countered this by asserting that the reality shows a consistent rejection of the APC's governance, which he likened to historical propaganda tactics used by totalitarian regimes. He warned that the actions of the APC could threaten democracy in Nigeria.
