APC Spokesman Claims PDP No Longer Functions as Party

Felix Morka, the spokesman for the All Progressives Congress (APC), commented on the recent wave of defections from the People's Democratic Party (PDP), asserting that the PDP can no longer be considered a functioning political party. During an appearance on Arise Television, Morka attributed the trend of politicians abandoning the PDP to deep internal problems within the party, which he claimed have weakened its structure and diminished its ability to provide credible political action for its members.

He argued that the PDP is incapable of offering its members sensible and credible platforms for pursuing political aspirations due to its internal dysfunction. Morka explained that politicians leaving the PDP are simply in search of a more stable political environment.

He further contended that the decision of these politicians to join the APC should not be seen as a threat to Nigeria's democratic system but rather as evidence of the APC's growing strength and appeal as a political platform.
