PDP Awards Certificates to Gubernatorial Candidates in Abuja

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) held a ceremony in Abuja to present certificates of return to its governorship candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections. The event was organized by the Interim National Working Committee (INWC) and featured remarks from Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, who spoke on behalf of state chairmen.

He commended the INWC for its efforts in sustaining the party despite challenges posed by the All Progressives Congress (APC) federal government. Turaki highlighted the party's determination to achieve milestones and expressed optimism about the leadership of the PDP.

Barr. Benedict Etanaben, representing the governorship candidates, assured that the party would not risk picking a ticket without proper validation.

The leadership of the PDP, particularly in Adamawa State, was praised for its effective management. The event marked the formal ratification of candidates following the party's recent primary elections.
