PDP Presents Certificates to Governorship Candidates for 2027

On Wednesday, the People's Democratic Party (PDP) presented certificates of return to its governorship candidates in preparation for the 2027 general elections. The event took place at the Shehu Musa Yar'Adua Centre in Abuja, organized by the interim national working committee led by Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, SAN.

During the meeting, Dupe Aisida, speaking on behalf of state chairmen, commended the committee for its efforts in sustaining the party across various states. Aisida described the interim national working committee as the "oxygen" of the party, highlighting its resilience and ability to navigate challenges posed by the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Barrister Benedict Etanaben, representing the candidates, expressed confidence in the PDP's leadership and its potential for success in the upcoming elections. Dr. Caleb Andrew, a governorship candidate from Adamawa State, also praised the leadership for effectively managing the party and reaffirmed the candidates' commitment to supporting the party's success in the 2027 elections.
