Turaki's PDP Faction Awards Certificates for 2027 Elections

On Tuesday, the Turaki faction of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Taraba State presented certificates of return to its candidates for the upcoming 2027 general elections. The presentation covered candidates for three senatorial districts, six House of Representatives constituencies, and 24 House Assembly seats.

The ceremony took place in Jalingo, where Obidah Bitru, the faction's chairman, congratulated the victorious candidates and described their emergence as the beginning of a journey toward effective representation. Bitru urged the candidates to remain united and committed as they prepare for the 2027 polls, expressing confidence in their ability to justify the trust placed in them by the faction's members.

He called for party support to rally behind the candidates collectively, emphasizing the importance of unity in achieving electoral success in the forthcoming elections.
