PDP Remains Strongest Party in Bauchi, Says Adamu

Usman Adamu, a governorship aspirant for the People's Democratic Party (PDP), stated that the PDP remains the strongest political party in Bauchi State as the 2027 elections approach. He expressed confidence that the party will emerge victorious, submitting his interest in the nomination form at Wadata Plaza in Abuja on Saturday.

Adamu addressed concerns regarding the influence of Governor Bala Mohammed and the People's Movement, asserting that the people of Bauchi are wise enough to choose their leaders. He emphasized reliance on God for the future and dismissed rumors about internal issues within the PDP, asserting that the party is united and strong in Bauchi.

Adamu also mentioned that the primary elections are scheduled for May 24, with nomination forms expected to be submitted by midnight on May 9. He criticized splinter groups within the party and reaffirmed his belief in the PDP's strength and unity.
