PDP Uploads Candidates for 2027 Elections to INEC Portal

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) has announced the successful upload of its presidential and National Assembly candidates, along with their running mates, to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) portal. This development was confirmed by Jungudo Haruna Moham, the party's public secretary.

The upload follows a Supreme Court judgment that nullified a previous convention, leading to the recognition of Abdulrahman Moham as the party's chairman. The PDP is preparing for the 2027 general elections, demonstrating its commitment to full participation.

Babangida Umaru has been named as the vice-presidential candidate, while Wike has expressed support for the party. The PDP is also in the process of uploading candidates for governorship and state house assemblies.
