APC Uploads National Assembly Candidates for 2027 Elections

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has initiated the process of uploading its National Assembly candidates to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) portal, a key step in preparing for the 2027 general elections. This development follows the conclusion of the party's internal nomination process and the approval of the final list of candidates by the APC National Working Committee (NWC).

Several candidates from Kogi State have been confirmed, including Steve Karimi for Kogi West, Ameh Joseph Erico for Kogi East, and former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello for Kogi Central. The party's House of Representatives candidates from Kogi State include Abdullah Ibrahim, Leke Abejide, Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem, Danladi Suleiman Aguy, and others.

Governor Ahm Usman Ododo received the completed nomination forms and emphasized the importance of unity within the party as they prepare for the elections. APC stakeholders view the commencement of the INEC upload process as a clear indication of the party's readiness for the upcoming polls.
