PDP Stakeholders Set Conditions for Ibadan Convention to Ensure Credibility

Key figures within the People's Democratic Party (PDP), including Wike, Ortom, and Fayose, have outlined conditions for the upcoming Ibadan convention. Demands for equity, fairness, and inclusivity were raised during a stakeholder meeting in Abuja.

The National Working Committee (NWC) was urged to ensure credibility as a viable alternative for Nigerians. Failure to meet these demands could invalidate the convention, leading to disenfranchisement of party members.

The stakeholders also called for fresh congresses in Ebonyi and Anambra states in compliance with court judgments. The PDP heavyweight emphasized the importance of upholding democratic principles within the party.
