PEBEC Advocates Digital Integration Among MDAs in Nigeria

The Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC) is advocating for stronger digital integration among Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) to improve government efficiency and facilitate business operations in Nigeria. During a retreat in Abuja, Zahra Audu, the Director General of PEBEC, emphasized the importance of interconnectivity among government agencies to reduce duplication and enhance efficiency.

The retreat focused on collaborative integration of digital government services and data sharing to improve coordination across public institutions. PEBEC's strategy involves clustering MDAs based on their operations and interdependencies to align reforms with government priorities.

Ibrahim Hadejia, Deputy Chief of Staff to the President, stated that Nigeria can no longer sustain fragmented systems that weaken productivity and reduce investor confidence. The Tinubu administration remains committed to building a transparent, technology-driven public sector.

Additionally, Charl Emukowh discussed digital reforms in pension processes, while Adeyemi Adeniran highlighted the implementation of an integrated administrative data system to improve data sharing among MDAs.
