Nollywood actress Peggy Ovire has publicly clarified that she is not in a romantic relationship with her colleague Kachi Nnochiri. The rumors began after a video of Peggy walking with Kachi went viral, leading netizens to speculate about their relationship, especially following reports of a purported breakup between Peggy and her husband, Frederick Leonard.

In response to the speculation, Peggy stated on her Instagram that Kachi is happily married and has helped her heal. The rumors of marital trouble first emerged in December 2024 when Peggy shared a Christmas photo of herself in pajamas without Leonard, and they were further fueled in May 2025 when she posted a video preparing for a wedding event without wearing her wedding band.
