PENGASSAN Declares Nationwide Strike from September 29, 2025

Petroleum Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) has declared a nationwide strike starting September 29, 2025. The strike, announced after a National Executive Council meeting, directs members to cease services across various offices, companies, and institutions.

PENGASSAN emphasized the need for compliance and safety during the strike, with a specific focus on Dangote Refinery operations. The association called for a prayer vigil and urged members to withdraw services, impacting gas and crude supply processes.

The strike aims to address issues related to authority compliance and adherence to Nigerian laws within the petroleum sector.
