PENGASSAN Suspends Strike After Agreement with Dangote Refinery

The Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) suspended its strike after reaching an agreement with Dangote Refinery Group, brokered by the Federal Government. PENGASSAN agreed to end the industrial action following the company's commitment to reabsorb 800 sacked staff who allegedly joined the union.
