PDP Chieftains Defect to APC in Kogi Ward, Citing Governor's Leadership

Several Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftains in Id Otafun Ward, Mopamuro Local Government Area of Kogi State, defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC). Notable defectors include former governor Idri Ichala Wada, Hon.

Kehinde Obadofin, Hon. Babatunde Ebiromi, Mr.

Seun Bakar, and others. The defection was attributed to the outstanding performance of Governor Ahm Usman Ododo and his ability to attract support.

The move is considered a significant blow to the opposition in the state. The APC leadership in the area welcomed the new members and expressed readiness to accommodate them.
