Peter Mbah Declared APC Governorship Candidate for Enugu

Peter Mbah has been declared the sole governorship candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Enugu State for the upcoming 2027 elections. This announcement was made following the party's primary election held on a Thursday, which was overseen by a committee led by Danmalikin Hausa.

The primary election recorded 397,370 accredited party members participating across 260 wards in the state. The committee chairman described the primary as peaceful and credible, commending the leadership of the APC and President Bola Tinubu for fostering unity and inclusiveness within the party.

Mbah expressed gratitude for the nomination, acknowledging the challenges ahead but affirming his commitment to transparency and accountability in governance. He emphasized the importance of collective effort to define a new future for the party and the state, reflecting on his administration's focus on delivering campaign promises and infrastructural development.
