Peter Obi and Rotimi Amaechi Unite at Lagos Event

Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), and Rotimi Amaechi, the presidential running mate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), were spotted together at a public event in Lagos. They attended the service of songs for Nkechi Stella Rhodes-Vivour, who is the mother of Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, the ADC’s governorship candidate in Lagos State.

The service was held at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Fountain of Life Sanctuary in Ikeja. During the event, both politicians were seen engaging in conversation and embracing each other.

Nkechi Stella Rhodes-Vivour gained prominence during the 2023 election campaign for her active role in mobilizing support for her son. Following the election, she made allegations of widespread vote buying and accused security agencies of failing to take action against the offenders.
