ADC Spokesman Warns of Impact from Obi, Kwankwaso Exit

Abdullahi, the spokesman for the African Democratic Congress (ADC), expressed concerns regarding the potential impact of Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso leaving the ADC. He indicated that their departure could weaken the opposition's chances against President Bola Tinubu in the upcoming 2027 elections.

During an interview on AIT's political platform, Abdullahi emphasized that a divided opposition would strengthen the ruling party. He clarified that while Obi and Kwankwaso's exit would affect the ADC, it would also influence the entire opposition bloc.

Abdullahi maintained that the opposition remains strong as key political figures continue to collaborate. He also mentioned discussions involving former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, although he noted that these talks were not official party negotiations.
