David Mark Addresses Impact of Obi, Kwankwaso's Exit

David Mark, the chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), stated that the recent departures of Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso from the party will have a considerable impact on its activities. In an address to members of the ADC forum at the party's secretariat in Abuja on Wednesday, Mark noted that Kwankwaso's exit would motivate the ADC to intensify its efforts.

He assured members that the party would produce a candidate capable of winning elections and overcoming the challenges currently faced. Mark's comments come in the wake of Obi and Kwankwaso's decision to leave the ADC to pursue a joint presidential ticket with the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC) ahead of the 2027 elections.
